St Luke’s St, Chelsea

Situated in a real prime location, between the Embankment and the Natural History Museum, this property on St Luke’s street had so many features that stood out for it prior to renovation. With generous rooms and a superb floor plan already in place, our work, although limited, really made this property realise its potential.

The loft was gutted, and the interior stripped right back to the paintwork in order to re-plaster. Prior to the project starting, the owners expressed that they would like additional bedroom space; in the loft we created two bedrooms, complete with window dormers that each open onto a bathroom, with exquisite stone floors and an all glass shower.

The dining area on the ground floor had always, according to the owners, been underutilised. We knocked through to combine the existing sitting room and dining room and create one large living room that now seats 10 comfortably; a small dining area was attached to the kitchen itself.

Part of the design was creative use of blacks, whites and greys to provide strong contrasts, without reducing the light levels in the rooms.
